330 gallon new caged IBC containers are one of the most commonly used IBC models, often selected for their increased capacity, their single pallet size footprint, and the strength and compatibility of the tote’s construction materials. Composite IBC totes feature an internal tank manufactured from high density polyethylene (HDPE) and that is containerized and supported by a galvanized steel protective cage. The polyethylene tank is blow-mold fabricated from select virgin HDPE resin that is FDA certified food grade, BPA free, UV stabilized, and the tote is ANSI / NSF 61 certified approved for potable water and consumable-based cargo.

330 gallon poly IBC totes are engineered per CFR Title 49 regulations and must undergo manufacturing and design tests for UN/DOT 31HA1/Y permit labeling. UN/DOT labels approve 330 gallon IBCs for handling and transporting non hazardous and hazardous liquid commodities belonging to packing group II and III. Some examples include chemicals, solutions, sand, paints, coatings, dyes, process waste, greases, oils, lubricants, intermediates, powders, and granulated substances.

HDPE poly IBCs are durable, potentially reusable, transport handling containers that feature an increased resistance against corrosion, impacts, punctures, and tears, as well as elemental exposure, such as rain, rust, heat, and dust. Engineering design and their large capacity makes 330 gallon poly totes versatile and well-suited for many work scenarios. New 330 gallon poly IBCs are fabricated to nominal tank thicknesses approving them for dense liquids up to 1.9 specific gravity. 330 gallon IBC totes measure 48” L x 40” W x 53″ H, near common pallet size dimensions, have a 6” vented, threaded screw cap inlet and a 2” NPT male quick connect ball valve outlet. The totes have 4-way movement channels for multi-directional mobility by equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. IBC engineering, shape, and volume improves handling, organizing, workflow, process integration, and transport. A single 330 gallon poly tote has a volume equal to six 55 gallon shipping drums, effectively saving cargo space and maximizing volume.
